Reviews for the site should be 500-800 words for chapbooks and 700-1000 words for longer books. Reviews for the print journal should be 1000 to 2500 words, depending on the book. Most reviews for the print journal will be associated with upcoming special features (e.g., on the poetic sequence, contemporary French poetry, contemporary Russian poetry).
Contributors whose reviews are accepted will receive a free copy of the 20th anniversary issue of Verse or a one-year subscription to Verse.
